Join us Thursday, April 1, through Sunday, April 4, in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2021 WBCA Convention. Registration opens in conjunction with WBCA membership renewals on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020.
It is important that you understand our plans for convention as well as your registration options in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. There will be a 2021 WBCA Convention. Whether it is an in-person or a virtual event remains unclear and we are planning for both possibilities.
NCAA Women's Final Four tickets
As you may remember, NCAA Women’s Final Four tickets within our block are usually sold in conjunction with convention registration. Because ticket allotments associated with the Alamodome have not been finalized, we will not be selling tickets at this time. If and when we receive tickets for sale, we will contact all members and release tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
In past years, our housing block would open in November to all convention registrants. Because we are waiting on some things to be finalized regarding our block, we will not sell hotels this November. If and when we finalize our hotels allotment, we will contact all registrants and they will be able to secure hotels on a first-come, first-served basis.
We communicate on a regular basis with the NCAA, the local organizing committee in San Antonio, and our stakeholders. We will make an informed decision on the format (in person or virtual) at the appropriate time based on the information provided to us by all relevant parties. Regardless of the format we ultimately choose, we appreciate your participation and patience. The event, no matter the format, will be one to remember!
We will keep you apprised of developments as they occur.
