The WBCA Board of Directors in March 2018 adopted a revised pricing structure as a way of expanding educational offerings, delivering important members-only benefits, and supporting the growth of our sport.
The changes below to WBCA membership dues took effect Monday, July 9, with renewals and new memberships for the 2018-19 membership year.

Business/Allied Membership Qualifications: Any for-profit business or non-profit corporation, association or club working in women's and girls' basketball (such as consultant). |

Other Individuals (not coaches)
Administrator/Media/Support Staff Qualifications: Any individual who is currently employed or volunteering in a support position for a women's or girls' basketball program/team (such as athletic director, SID, trainer, graduate assistant, videographer, scholastic principal and game official). |

Retired Coach or Administrator Qualifications: Any individual who has previously held a WBCA membership for a minimum of five years and who is retired from their careers in women's or girls' basketball. Members who are still employed in another capacity are excluded from this category. |

Player Qualifications: Any individual who is actively playing for a women's or girls' basketball team on the professional, collegiate, scholastic, AAU, recreational or club levels. (Note: Any player who is eligible to be recruited by any collegiate institution cannot attend WBCA events where coaches are present). |

Additional information:
- Individual membership is held by the individual and cannot be transfered.
- Business/allied membership can be held by the company or individual. The primary representative will receive WBCA communications.
- The WBCA membership year runs from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. Invoices for the upcoming year are sent to continuing members in October.
- Membership dues for new members are no longer prorated by the month; joining, renewing and reinstating members must submit the full annual amount to remain active. All dues must be paid in U.S. funds and, once received, are non-refundable.
