South Carolina, which won the NCAA Division I national championship on Sunday night, finished No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports Postseason Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Gamecocks (35-2) started their 2021-22 campaign No. 1 in the preseason poll and remained atop the rankings through all 17 polls conducted during the regular season. Connecticut (30-6), which lost to South Carolina in the national championship game, finished No. 2. National semifinalists Stanford (32-4) and Louisville (30-5) were third and fourth respectively.
