Janelle Bailey, North Carolina

Bailey is a force to reckon with for the Tar Heels. Since starting her career for North Carolina, the junior center has registered over 1,200 points and 700 rebounds. Bailey has also garnered double-double performances in 35 games. She currently leads the team with 14.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

Her performances the last two games have been stellar. Bailey recorded her ninth double-double of the season after scoring a season-high 28 points and grabbing 15 boards against Miami (FL)and she capped off the week with 16 points against Louisville on Sunday. Catch the Charlotte native today when North Carolina travels to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech.

 

 

Aari McDonald

 

Aari McDonald, Arizona

This Arizona star is only a junior and is thriving on the court for the Wildcats. McDonald has taken the team by storm since playing her first year with the team last season. Not only did she average 24.1 points in 2018-19, but she also broke the school record for points in a single season with 890. McDonald’s outstanding contributions landed her a spot on the 2019 All-Pac-12 team. Fast forward to 2019-20, she is leading the way with 20.3 points per game while shooting .450 from the field.

McDonald registered double-figure scoring performances in Arizona’s last two games. She scored 19 points against Washington State and 25 against Washington. Since her first game with the Wildcats, McDonald has finished 55 games in double-digits. She looks to make it 56 as Arizona hosts rival Arizona State on Friday.
