WBCA/D2CIDA Division II National Player of the Week – Rory Geer, Harding
Geer averaged 25.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and led the Lady Bisons to a pair of wins and the #2 seed for the Great America Conference Tournament. The senior guard from Grove, Okla., scored 24 on 9-for-14 shooting, including 3-for-3 from long range, in a win over Arkansas-Monticello. She then had a career-high 27 on 9-for-12 shooting against Henderson State. For the week, she hit 69% of her shots from the field and 92% (12-13) free throws. Geer’s selection makes Harding the only school this year with two different WBCA/D2CIDA national winners as Sage Hawley won twice earlier this season.
