Through our extensive awards and recognition programs, the WBCA community of coaches:
- Celebrates peers as well as their players who have excelled during the current season of competition;
- Honors individuals in differing roles who have contributed to the advancement of the association and women’s basketball;
- Pays tribute to those who have dedicated the entirety of their careers to the game they love;
- Rewards teams and individuals for their accomplishments in the classroom and their service to their communities; and
- Identifies the up-and-coming members of our profession who will lead the sport tomorrow.
Selection processes occur in the fall and winter. See the respective pages for each award or recognition program for their selection dates.

Description: The WBCA honors coaching excellence in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, Two-Year Colleges and High School and identifies the up-and-coming members of our profession who will lead the sport tomorrow. Head and assistant coaches must be a WBCA member in order to be eligible to nominate and/or be a nominee.
Description: The WBCA honors individuals in differing roles who have contributed to the advancement of the association and women’s basketball and pays tribute to those who have dedicated the entirety of their careers to the game they love.
Description: The WBCA honors players who have excelled during the current season of competition. A player(s) head coach must be a current WBCA member in order to nominate.
