The Next Generation Institute curriculum focuses on the CEO attributes needed to lead a program and be a problem-solver in today’s ever-changing landscape of higher education and the enterprise of intercollegiate athletics. 

This program assists female collegiate basketball players who are interested in pursuing a career in coaching women’s basketball by providing them with professional development and career advancement through education, skills enhancement, networking and exposure opportunities. 

The WBCA looks to its member coaches to help give direction to its programs and events, to promote and distribute information about the association and sport, and to choose recipients for the most prominent coach and player awards presented in women’s and girls’ basketball.
