Why Join
The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is the premier source of learning and knowledge for coaches of women’s and girls’ basketball. The association provides resources, education, ideas and leadership to enhance the power and performance of its members. Membership Dues Structure
Whether you are a coach, administrator or player at the professional, collegiate or scholastic level, or provide products and services to the women’s and girls’ basketball community, there is a membership for you!
Qualifications: Any individual who is currently employed as a coach in professional women’s basketball (such as WNBA, NBA).
- Head Coach – $300
- Associate head coach, assistant coach, director of operations (includes assistant director and coordinator of basketball operations) – $240
Qualifications: Any individual who is currently employed as as a head coach, associate head coach, assistant coach or director of basketball operations in a women’s basketball program at a two- or four-year college or university.
**This category is not for international coaches. These individuals must use the “International” category.

Head Coach

Associate head coach, assistant coach, general manager or director of operations (includes assistant director of operations and coordinator of basketball operations)

NCAA Division II and III
Head Coach

Associate head coach, assistant coach or director of operations(includes assistant director of operations and coordinator of basketball operations.)

NAIA, NCCAA, USCAA, Two-Year College, Independent and Unaffiliated Colleges
Head coach, associate head coach, assistant coach or director of operations(includes assistant director of operations and coordinator of basketball operations.)

Scholastic, AAU, Club/Rec
Qualifications: Any individual who is currently employed as a girls’ basketball coach at the following levels:
- High school, junior high school, middle school, elementary school
- Any individual actively coaching an AAU girls’ basketball team or a women’s/girl’s team for a recreational or club league
- Fee – $75
Qualifications: Any individual joining from outside of the United States (such as coaches, directors of operation, administrators) or its territories.
**This category is not for individuals associated with a for-profit business or non-profit corporation, association or event operator working in basketball (includes all consultants). These individuals must use the “Patron” category.
- Fee – $75
Qualifications: Any individual associated with a for-profit business or non-profit corporation, business owner/CEO or event operator working in basketball (includes all consultants).
- Fee – $75
Administrator, Media, Retired, and Unemployed
Qualifications:
- Any individual who is currently employed or volunteering in a support position for a women’s or girls’ basketball program/team (such as athletic director, SID, trainer, graduate assistant, videographer, scholastic principal and game official).
- Any individual who has previously held a WBCA membership and who is retired from their careers in women’s or girls’ basketball. Members who are still employed in another capacity are excluded from this category.
- Those who are not currently employed in women’s or girls’ basketball but are still actively seeking a position in the sport.
- Fee – $75
Any individual that is an undergraduate student, athlete, or manager for a two- or four-year collegiate program.
