WBCA announces two-year college honorees for 2025-26 season 

ATLANTA (March 31, 2026) –The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced today the two-year college award winners for the 2025-26 season.

Coach of the Year

Russ Jackson of Daytona State College in Florida is the 2026 WBCA Two-Year College Coach of the Year. Jackson will receive the Pat Summitt Trophy, named for the late legendary University of Tennessee coach and awarded annually to the coaches of the year in each of the WBCA’s membership divisions.

“The WBCA is pleased to announce Russ Jackson as the 2026 recipient of the Pat Summitt Trophy presented to the WBCA Two-Year College Coach of the Year,” said WBCA Executive Director Danielle M. Donehew. “Russ was chosen for this honor by his peers after leading his team to an outstanding season. We congratulate Russ on his success.”

Player of the Year

Jada Graves of New Mexico Junior College is the 2026 WBCA Two-Year College Player of the Year. She headlines the 2026 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-America team.

“The WBCA is proud to Jada Graves as the 2026 WBCA Two-Year College Player of the Year,” said Donehew. “Jada is most deserving of this distinguished honor. The WBCA family of coaches congratulates Jada on her hard work, dedication and exceptional play during the 2025-26 season.”
