WBCA National High School Coach of the Year

Pat Summitt Trophy presented to the WBCA National High School Coach of the Year

This award is presented annually to the WBCA National High School Coach of the Year. The criteria in order of priority are:

 Team success during current season
□ Team improvement from previous season
□ Fulfillment of team potential
□ Professional manner and attitude of coach

The WBCA National High School Coach of the Year award is presented during the WBCA Convention.

NOMINATE/VOTE

High School Division

 Eligibility.  Any high school head coach, regardless of whether they are a WBCA member.
 Nominations - Any member high school coach (head or assistant) may nominate any high school head coach.
 Member Voting - None.
 Selection - All eligible nominees are divided by region among selection committee members. On its first conference call the committee discusses each nominee and selects the WBCA National High School Coach of the Year. On the final conference call, each committee member reviews with the group their respective Regional Coach of the Year. Following the call, the committee votes for the WBCA National High School Coach of the Year from the pool of Regional Coaches of the Year.
