Who can be a member of the WBCA?
Whether you are a coach, administrator or player at the professional, collegiate or scholastic level, or provide products and services to the women's and girls’ basketball community, there is a membership for you!

Is my membership renewal due on the anniversary of my join date, or is the membership term based on the calendar year? Do I pay the full amount of dues for the first year, or a prorated amount?
WBCA membership terms are based on the calendar year – Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. Your membership period is for one year. If your membership lapses beyond our 30-day grace period, your membership term will begin on the day you renew. And, no matter when you renew/join, your memberships ends on Aug. 31.

May I pay two years of membership dues at the same time?
No. Memberships fees are due each year.

What forms of payment do you accept for our membership?
Membership payment can be made via check and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Please make checks payable to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.

When I join the WBCA, am I automatically enrolled in my state or coaches association(s) (or vice versa)?
No. Memberships in your state and/or regional association(s) are separate.

I recently joined the WBCA. When will I begin to receive information, materials and email communications?
Members who pay by credit card will have access to members-only resources within 24 hours. For members who pay by check, it may take up to two weeks to gain access to benefits.

I've left my current position and will begin work at another school or company. Can I keep my membership?
Yes. Your WBCA membership follows you through your renewal date. When you begin your new position, please contact our membership department at membership@wbca.org or 770-279-8027 (prompt 2) to update your record.

Another WBCA member on staff has left the organization. Can we transfer the membership to our new staff person?
No. Memberships belong to the individual, not the school/company.

I am a member and am currently unemployed, actively looking for my next position. Can I still be a member of the WBCA?
Yes. We have membership opportunities for you.

I am a recently retired coach, and I wish to maintain my relationship with the WBCA. Does the WBCA offer a retired membership option?
Yes. We have membership opportunities for you.

Are my WBCA membership dues tax-deductible?
No, they are not.
