Shayla Black is the manager of membership, a position she has held since September 2018. She provides customer service by responding to member calls and inquiries regarding membership. She is also responsible for running on-site registration at the annual WBCA Convention.
Black is also currently an assistant women’s basketball coach for Midway University in Midway, Kentucky. She assists the head coach with game-day preparation and coaches the junior varsity team. Prior to this, she worked as a health fitness professional for Health Fitness Corporation and was an office manager and health screener for C.O.R.E. Health Centers.
Black earned her Bachelor of Arts in exercise science with a minor in psychology from Transylvania University in 2011. She was a member of the women’s basketball team during her time at the university.
