Shannon Reynolds is currently the deputy director. She has served in a variety of roles for the association since 1997. When she became the association’s first-ever director of events. As deputy director, she manages the daily operations of the office, serves as a liaison for the association with its affiliated organizations, and spearheads NCAA legislative issues for all divisions.

Prior to joining the WBCA, Reynolds served as the director of athletic development at Florida Atlantic University and was also head women’s volleyball coach. She was responsible for starting the university's volleyball program and originating an aggressive fundraising and public relations program for the athletic department.

Reynolds is a graduate of the University of Tampa, where she played basketball and volleyball for two years before focusing solely on volleyball. She and her partner of 28 years are proud aunts and godparents and together they enjoy traveling, red wine and golf. Their plan is to retire at The Reserve of Lake Keowee in South Carolina where they currently spend as much time as possible.
