WBCA High School Coaches Day

The WBCA High School Coaches Day is a full day of programming focusing on building high-level scholastic programs and preparing athletes to play on the college stage. This event will include on-court instruction, classroom sessions, lunch and an opportunity to network with collegiate coaches.
Fee: $50 (nonrefundable)
WBCA Convention registrants can add this session during the WBCA registration process.
Non-member registrants may register using this form and return it to the WBCA by February 28, 2017. In addition, consider participating in the full WBCA Convention (Thursday through Sunday) for an additional $199 and purchasing tickets to the NCAA Women's Final Four games.
Registrations for WBCA High School Coaches Day are nonrefundable and nontransferable once confirmed.

10 – 10:45 a.m. General session Fundraising And Marketing Your Program presented by Gary Blair, Texas A&M University
11 a.m. – Noon ½ court presentation Offensive And Defensive Drills by Andy Zihlman, Bishop Lynch Catholic High School, Texas
11 a.m. – Noon Learning Lab Teaching The Fundamentals
12:30 – 1:15 p.m. Roundtable Lunch
- Roundtable 1: Preventing burnout and dealing with multisport athletes
- Roundtable 2: Running an efficient and intense practice
- Roundtable 3: Preparing players for the college level
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Learning Lab
2:45 – 3:30 p.m. Closing session Coaching Philosophy And Building A Strong Team Culture presented by Karen Aston, University of Texas
