Whether you are a coach, administrator, player or fan at the professional, collegiate or scholastic level, or provide products and services to the women's basketball community, there is a membership for you!

Coaches

Category Dues
Professional
Qualifications: Any individual who has full-time employment as a coach in professional women's basketball.

Collegiate
Qualifications: Any individual who has full-time employment as a head coach, associate head coach, assistant coach or director of basketball operations in a women's basketball program at a two- or four-year college or university.

Qualifications: Any individual who has full-time employment as a girls' basketball coach at the following levels:

Qualifications: Any individual who is actively coaching an AAU girls' basketball team.

Qualifications: Any individual who is actively coaching a women's or girls' basketball team for a recreational or club league.

Qualifications: Special approval from WBCA office may be required for admission in this category.

Other Individuals (not coaches)

Category Dues
Administrator/Staff
Qualifications: Any individual who is currently employed or volunteering in a support position for a women's or girls' basketball program/team (e.g., athletic director, SID, trainer, graduate assistant, videographer, principal, game official).

Industry Professional
Qualifications: Any individual who provides a service to coaches, women's or girls' basketball programs or the sport as a whole (e.g., consultant or media).

Retired Coach or Administrator
Qualifications: Any individual who has previously held a WBCA membership for a minimum of 5 years and who is retired from their careers in women women's or girls' basketball. Members who are still employed in another capacity are excluded from this category.

Player
Qualifications: Any individual who is actively playing for a women's or girls' basketball team on the professional, collegiate, scholastic, AAU, recreational or club levels. (Note: Any player who is eligible to be recruited by any collegiate institution cannot attend the WBCA National Convention.)

Fan/Unemployed/Other
Qualifications: Any individual who is not eligible for any other membership type but wishes to support the WBCA's mission and programs.

Qualifications: Any individual - whether coach, noncoach, player or fan - who resides outside the United States or its territories.

Businesses/Organizations

Category Dues
Corporate/Allied Membership
Qualifications: Any for-profit business or non-profit corporation, association or club working in women's and girls' basketball.

Additional information:
  • Individual membership is held by the individual and cannot be transfered.
  • Corporate/allied membership is held by the company and one primary representative will receive WBCA communications.
  • The WBCA membership year runs from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. Invoices for the upcoming year are sent to continuing members in June.
  • Membership dues for new members only are prorated by the month; renewing and reinstating members must submit the full annual amount to remain active. All dues must be paid in U.S. funds and, once received, are non-refundable. View the prorated dues schedule by clicking here (individuals) or here (corporate/allied).
  • Former members cannot reinstate their membership online. Please contact the WBCA office by email at membership@wbca.org or by phone at 770-279-8027 (press 2 for membership) to reinstate your membership.
