Thursday, March 30   
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. “So You Want to Be a Coach” 

9 a.m. – 8 p.m. WBCA Convention Registration presented by NIKE 

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Coach and Be Coached: Mock Interviews 
This career development option will give individuals the opportunity to practice their interview skills with an athletic administrator or head coach while have the option to ask questions while the interviewer will critique the interviewee. (This session is now full. To be added to the waitlist, email hsumperl@wbca.org.)

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Mentoring Madness
Mentoring Madness is a fast-paced, small-group mentoring session. Participants will have face time with experienced head coaches to discuss pertinent coaching issues, help to build everyone’s professional network and open the door to a convention full of brainstorming and sharing. 

Noon – 2 p.m. Working Group meetings

4:30 – 6 p.m. Division I Coaches Speed Scheduling: Basketball Travelers Speed (game) Dating Session Minimize your scheduling stress and fill in your 2017-18 open dates by attending this session to connect with prospective opponents.

4:30 – 6 p.m. Whiteboard Programming 
Coaches discuss hot topics in a classroom setting.

7 – 11 p.m. WBCA Welcome Party
Let’s start convention off on a high note. The WBCA invites all of our members to an off-site venue where coaches can celebrate the end to another great season.
