The South Carolina Gamecocks are the coaches' choice to win the 2022 NCAA Division I national championship according to the USA TODAY Sports/WBCA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll released today. South Carolina (26-5 last year) edged out defending national champion Stanford (31-2) and Connecticut (28-2), which are tied for No. 2, by five poll points to take the top spot.
