Barnes Arico, McGraw to present at 2018 WBCA Convention

Register today for the 2018 WBCA Convention to see on-court presentations by Michigan head coach Kim Barnes Arico (Saturday, March 31) and Notre Dame head coach Muffet McGraw (Friday, March 30).

Barnes Arico led Michigan to the 2017 WNIT championship and was named 2017 Big Ten Coach of the Year. She is the only coach in Michigan history to have five 20-win seasons and is 13 victories away from becoming the winningest coach in school history. Barnes Arico has coached the Wolverines to five NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing once to the NCAA Sweet 16.

In 36 seasons, McGraw has made seven trips to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, reaching the national championship game five times and winning one national title. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September and, as of this writing, holds an overall win-loss record of 853-268.

On-court presentations in the WBCA Courtside Expo allow attendees to see the top coaches in women’s basketball demonstrate the plays and drills they use in building their successful programs. To see previous on-court presentations, log in to and visit the Coaching Library.
