Shake-up in top 10 of WBCA NCAA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll

After a week in which the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 teams each lost back-to-back games, there is a shake-up in the top 10 of the latest WBCA NCAA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll released today by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Emporia State (6-0) is the coaches' solid choice as the new No. 1 team, followed by Ashland (6-0), California (PA) (7-0), Pittsburg State (7-0) and Bellarmine (6-0). Virginia Union, West Texas A&M, Angelo State, Alaska-Anchorage and California Baptist round out the top 10.

Bentley, last week's No. 1, falls to No. 11 and Florida Southern, last week's No. 4, plummets 15 spots to No. 19. Alaska-Anchorage, last week's No. 6, slips just three places to No. 9 after two single-digit losses to NCAA Division I teams.
