Emporia State (4-0), the preseason No. 4 team, climbs to No. 2; Ashland (3-0), ranked 5th in the preseason, jumps to No. 3; Florida Southern (4-0), preseason No. 6, is now 4th; and California (PA) (5-0), ranked 8th in the preseason is now 5th.
