ATLANTA (March 30, 2018) — The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association WBCA announced the 2018 WBCA Victory Club honorees today.
Rhonda Farney of Georgetown High School in Texas reached 1,100 wins during the 2017-18 season to lead this year’s Victory Club. She is followed by Geno Auriemma of the University of Connecticut, Sylvia Hatchell of the University of North Carolina, Jeff Jasper of Pascack Valley High School and Barbara Stevens of Bentley University, all of whom won their 1,000th game this season.
The WBCA Victory Club honor is bestowed annually on each WBCA-member head coach who achieves a milestone of 200, 300, 400, 500 or more career victories during the current season on the level of competition (high school, college or pro) at which they currently coach.
