Application Process

Applications for the Betty F. Jaynes Internship Program, Class of 2019-20, are now open. Internships will begin on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 and conclude at the end of April 2020.

The following positions are now accepting applications:

An applicant is required to submit a cover letter, resume with three references, and a one-page writing sample answering one (1) of the following questions: (Please attached all documents to be submitted as one (1) PDF attachment)  

  1. If you could be a super hero, what would you want your superpowers to be and why?
  2. If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs--such as food and water--taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you and why?
  3. If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?

**In addition, any applicant applying for the marketing and media intern position must also include two (2) press releases, published articles or other journalistic writing samples that you have authored, two (2) samples or hyperlinks to examples of your graphic design work with their application materials.
