Not a member of the WBCA?

Why membership in the WBCA makes sense . . .

Education and Professional Development is important to our members and, therefore, the WBCA. We have a large library of educational videos that is constantly expanding, and is available 24/7 exclusively to members at no additional cost. Here are a couple of the more than 60 and growing videos in the library:

Speaking up on behalf of coaches
with the governing bodies of the sport is more important than ever. We are in an era of rapid change in tournament formats, rules, the roles of coaches and how the game is officiated. The WBCA represents your concerns and keeps you informed about what is happening. Even if a change doesn't impact your team today it may in the future. Check out the September 2013 edition of Fast Break for what is happening and how the WBCA is working for coaches.

Take a moment and find out more about the WBCA's newest program; "Its' Our Game" - WBCA Marketing Symposium. It will be held on Friday April 4 in Nashville to kickoff the WBCA National Convention. You don't even have to be registered for the convention to attend the symposium; it is that important.

With Compliance Now we keep high school members informed on rules and legislative changes - and give coaches an opportunity to weigh in on issues. The WBCA acts as the voice of women basketball coaches and ensures that the concerns of coaches are considered by the governing authorities in the game. (Unfortunately these are member-only publications and no samples are available.)

Help develop your career and find the perfect position at the WBCA Career Center. You can post a resume, look for open positions or even post one if you are looking for the right person to fill a slot.

WBCA is all about members. Here is what one member told us anonymously in a recent member survey, "Keep doing what you're doing. A lot of us are in situations (small towns/small schools) where we are under a great deal of limitations (financial/player) and we do the best we can with what we have. We appreciate your support and efforts to help us more than you know."

Keep in touch with WBCA and the latest developments in women's basketball by subscribing to our Fast Break monthly e-newsletter. There is no cost or obligation. We just need some information to ensure that we send it to the right place; we won't spam your inbox, share or sell your email address. Sign up now by emailing your name, position (head coach, assistant coach, etc), school/company and email address to: ahopper@wbca.org.
