2005 WBCA Classic, presented by BTI Start Date: 11/11/2005 End Date: 11/12/2005 Location: Arizona State University

In its fourth year, the WBCA Classic, presented by BTI, offers one of the strongest fields in women's basketball. The WBCA is proud to partner with Basketball Travelers, Inc. (BTI) to co-produce this certified tournament each year. In 2002, Purdue University hosted and won the first 4-team, 2-game tournament. Texas Christian University, Holy Cross, and Savannah State rounded out the inaugural field. The 2003 tournament took place on the campus of the University of Colorado, Boulder with host Colorado taking championship honors with an exciting overtime win 67-63 over Notre Dame and Auburn taking the consolation game with a convincing win over Old Dominion 84-49. The 2004 tournament took place on the campus of the University of Washington with host Washington taking championship honors with an exciting overtime win 72-67 over Minnesota and UNLV taking the consolation game with a tight win over South Carolina 66-63.
