Candace Williams-Brown is one of the newest additions to the WBCA, joining the team in Mid-August, 2007.
As the Manager of Multimedia, her duties include maintaining the WBCA website and managing the creation of all print and web materials for the organization and its events.
Candace is a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia where she majored in Publication Management.
While a student at UGA, Candace was heavily involved in campus media, serving as the Editor-in-Chief of InfUSion Magazine for two years. She also served as a resident assistant, peer mentor, Dean’s Council Member for the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and an intern in the Office of Admissions.
During her spare time, Candace worked as a freelance writer and graphic designer for several Athens publications.
Although new to the sports communications field, Candace hopes to bring a fresh perspective to the WBCA and women’s basketball.
